At NZ Post, our story is evolving-and we need a skilled communicator to help tell it. We're looking for a Senior Communications Advisor who can help shape our communications strategy and bring our people on the journey.
Korero mo te turanga - About the role
As part of an award-winning Marketing & Communications team based in Auckland, you'll work closely with the Corporate Communications Manager and senior leaders to deliver impactful internal and corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategies. You'll play a critical role in aligning messaging across the business and ensuring that what we say connects with why we do it.
You'll do that through:
- Developing and delivering strategic communication plans and projects that support key business priorities
- Providing trusted communications advice to senior leaders and project teams
- Creating compelling internal content that informs, inspires and aligns with our purpose and brand platform
- Managing stakeholder engagement across large-scale initiatives
- Managing content across a variety of channels, ensuring consistency, clarity and alignment to strategy and brand
- Helping to evolve our internal communications platforms, tools, and practices
- Getting involved in a variety of key projects and supporting the wider team in a collaborative, can-do way
Mou - About you
You're a strategic communicator who thrives in fast-moving environments, with the ability to influence, engage and simplify the complex. You're confident advising senior leaders and equally comfortable crafting compelling content.
You'll combine that with
- Depth of experience within a corporate communications role, ideally in a complex or service-based organisation
- Proven ability in developing and delivering strategic communications with measurable impact
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a variety of formats and channels
- Being skilled in stakeholder management, relationship building, and being a trusted advisor
- A proactive approach, you'll be organised, and solution-oriented, with excellent time management
