Deloitte’s HR Strategy and Technology (HRS&T) team are currently seeking an experienced Workday HCM Senior Consultant/ Manager, specialising in one or more modules of Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security or Learning.

You should expect to be involved in the following:

  • Gathering business requirements and discussing business shortcoming with various clients
  • Build consensus around business processes and design and evaluating current systems and structures
  • Communication of Workday capabilities and discussing the current systems with the staff and observing systems at all levels of organisation
  • Developing strategies and plans to achieve customer satisfaction and efficient use of business’s resources
  • Recommending proposals to revise the methods and procedures and redefine job functions
  • Consistent and ongoing interaction with client subject matter experts
  • Configuration of Workday application

Qualifications

As a Workday Senior Consultant within Deloitte’s HRT practice, you will be responsible for leading and delivering functional elements of Workday engagements across various industry sectors. Ideally you will have the following:

  • Workday Core HCM certification
  • A minimum of 2 full Workday implementation lifecycle experience
  • Experience in all project phases, from Imagine through to Deploy
  • Strong practical experience in functional configuration in one or more module of Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security or Learning
  • Experience with Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

As a Workday Manager, ideally you will have the following:

  • Workday Core HCM certification
  • Strong practical experience in functional configuration in one or more module of Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security or Learning
  • 5+ years’ end-to-end Workday implementation experience in an HR/People/Talent Development system based role ideally within a Consulting/Professional Services environment
  • Experience as an engagement manager managing all aspects of the engagement from contracts through to budgets.
  • Strong client relationship management experience
  • Experience with business development
  • Experience in all project phases, from Imagine through to Deploy and Operate
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Human Resources & Recruitment systems processes and practices. This includes experience designing and delivering SAP Success Factors implementation for clients requiring a solution to their HR/Recruitment needs.
  • Strong quantitative and analysis skills, able to uncover the heart of problems, identify root causes and offer clear solutions in a constructive and logical way.
  • Sound interpersonal skills, able to gain the trust and confidence of those you collaborate with.
  • Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken, as is the ability to engage a range of people at all organisation levels.
