Job Description
Lumino St Heliers is looking for an experienced Senior Dental Assistant to join the team full-time!
As a Senior Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with one of our experienced Dentists, providing high-level chairside support and leading key clinical functions. You will also take ownership of sterilisation protocols, infection control procedures, stock management, and assist in maintaining smooth clinical operations.
This role is ideal for a confident, proactive assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings leadership, efficiency, and a patient-focused approach to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced chairside support during general and surgical procedures
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and oversee instrument sterilisation.
- Manage clinical stock, ordering, and inventory systems.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical and reception teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Mentor and support junior assistants as needed.
- Deliver outstanding patient care and help ensure a calm, comfortable experience for every patient.
- Accurately complete clinical notes and maintain patient records.
- Use dental software (Exact) to manage bookings, notes, and treatment plans.
Hours for this role :
- Monday 8:00am - 3:30pm
- Tuesday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Wednesday 8:00am - 3:00pm
- Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm
Total hours : 37 hours
