We're looking for a Senior Manager - Risk Governance to lead and enhance our enterprise-wide risk governance practices, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and regulatory expectations.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you'll be responsible for embedding our Risk Management Framework across the organisation. You'll lead the development of governance structures, manage senior-level risk committees, and ensure high-quality risk reporting to executive and board stakeholders.
- Lead the design and implementation of risk governance processes and protocols.
- Manage senior management risk committees and reporting cycles.
- Provide secretariat services and ensure timely, high-quality board reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in risk reporting and governance practices.
- Develop and deliver targeted risk training for senior leaders and board members.
- Collaborate with legal, company secretaries, and senior leadership across NZ and Adelaide.
Mōu | About You
- Proven experience in risk governance, ideally in a highly regulated industry (e.g., financial services, gaming).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting board-level papers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Experience working with senior leadership and governance committees.
- A collaborative, improvement-focused mindset.
