Stay Coastal – Service Supervisor
We’re passionate about offering luxurious accommodation experiences and are looking for a professional and enthusiastic Service Supervisor to join our expanding team based in Auckland.
Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Key Tasks
- Coordinate workflow of accommodation teams and cleaning staff
- Create and maintain rosters, coordinate scheduling, and manage workforce allocation
- Monitor performance to help optimise efficiency, track key performance indicators, and identify improvement opportunities
- Promptly resolve team and staff problems and complete proper documentation in accordance with policies
- Coordinate with contractors, and service providers
- Monitor inventory control and other supplies/equipment
- Support adherence to Health and Safety, Fire Safety policies and regulations
- Assist with check-in/check-out processes and other front office/reception duties as required such as telephone support
- Support guest communications, resolve issues, and maintain service excellence standards
- Coordinate with Operations Manager to ensure smooth performance of the property services and operations
Person Specification
- Relevant tertiary qualification (diploma level or above) in hospitality management or similar OR
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in management or supervisory roles within accommodation / hospitality operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service excellence mindset
What we offer
- Minimum of 30 hours of work per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours
- Remuneration range between $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
