What does a successful Senior Developer do at Fiserv?
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Senior Developer you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What You Will Do:

• Minimum 5 year hands-on software development experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object oriented code in a collaborative cross-functional environment. 
• An advanced understanding of common computer programming algorithms. 
• An advanced understanding of object oriented design principles. 
• An advanced understanding of software development patterns and their application in several programming languages. 
• An advanced understanding of coding techniques which contribute to the reliability, maintainability, readability, simplicity, performance, and testability of software. 
• An advanced understanding of IT environments including networking, server technologies, databases, security and performance. 
• Proficient in the day-to-day practicalities of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or the Rational Unified Process. 
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Sciences. 

What You Will Need To Have

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on software development experience, in writing Android or iOS apps. 
• An advance understanding of app publication mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android 
• Experience with SwiftUI for iOS and Jetpack Compose for Android
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment to App Store/ Google Play
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
