Solicitor - Property
The opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a talented Property Solicitor to join our high-performing Auckland team. If you're passionate about complex property matters and want to work with some of New Zealand’s most prominent clients, this is your chance to make a real impact.
You’ll be part of a highly regarded team led by partners Tom Bennett, Paula Ormandy, and Dan Kelleher. Our team advises on everything from large-scale developments and infrastructure projects to high-value acquisitions, leasing portfolios, and construction matters. Our clients include major corporates, iwi, and leading contractors - both local and international.
Each day will be different – you'll be involved in:
- Facilitating acquisitions and dispositions of property
- Drafting and negotiating leases, rent reviews, variation and renewals
- Drafting special conditions for sale and purchase agreements
- Conducting due diligence and reviewing titles, LIMs, and reports
- Handling e-dealings and LINZ registrations Working directly with clients to provide practical, commercial advice.
What is important to us
We’re after someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. Ideally, you’ll have:
- 2+ years’ experience - ideally in a commercial property team
- Strong legal systems knowledge (eg Landonline, PPSR)
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Strong client service focus A sharp eye for detail.
