About the Role
As Senior Nurse Navigator (Specialty Nurse) you will be at the heart of improving the patient journey.
In this dynamic role, you’ll coordinate care, streamline patient flow, and ensure timely transitions as well as making a tangible difference every shift. You will lead and collaborate with a passionate, multidisciplinary team as well as solve complex challenges in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You will directly influence the patient experience and departmental performance all while having an opportunity to grow your leadership and coordination skills.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This role will be based at our Emergency Department at Waitakere Hospital.
About you
To be considered we will need the following:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Post Graduate qualification in specialty practice
- A minimum of 3 years’ post registration experience in Emergency Nursing
- RN level 4
- A confident communicator and natural problem solver
- Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively
