As Sports Turf Operations Assistant you'll be part of the team responsible for:
- The maintenance of our high-quality sports turf on Hagley Park and other turf areas in the Central City
- Assisting in preparation for events in Hagley Park
- Ensuring Hagley Oval is developed and maintained to host the extensive program of cricket to be played at the ground from community to international level.
- Seasonal grounds-keeping during our busy cricket and events season
- Maintenance and preparation of outdoor sports surfaces, grounds, roads and pathways
About you | Ko Koe Tēnei
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have a keen interest in turf management, with hands-on experience considered a distinct advantage
- Have a good understanding of the operation of sports and events at the venue
- Hold a full current driver's license.

Hours of work - 7:30am-4:00pm Monday to Friday. Some weekend work as required around events.
- Position - 6.5 months, Fixed Term
- Location - This position is primarily based at Hagley Park
- Salary - $27.80 per hour
