Hourly Rate: NZD $30 – $34 (depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail business. The successful candidate will take responsibility for staff management, customer service, stock control, compliance, and financial performance, ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably.
️ Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Lead, supervise, and roster staff, including training and performance management.
Manage inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships to maintain product availability.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, licensing, and food handling standards.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and provide regular reports to management.
Maintain high standards of store presentation and customer service.
Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and grow business performance.
✅ Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in retail or store management.
Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Knowledge of inventory management, supplier coordination, and basic financial management.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
A Level 6 qualification or higher in business, retail, or management is preferred.
Equivalent industry experience will also be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Preference will be given to New Zealand citizens and residents. However, suitably qualified overseas candidates may also be considered if no local candidates are available.
