Position: Full-Time Store person
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Store person to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoice
- Unloading vehicles, opening packages and removing contents.
- Organize and maintain stock in the storeroom and on shelves.
- Restock shelves efficiently and rotate items to maintain freshness.
- Packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes
- Assist with stock takes and inventory management
- Ensure storerooms and back-of-house areas are clean and safe
- Assist the retail floor team as required during busy periods
Requirements:
- Candidate should have either of the following
-Previous experience of at least 1 year in retail OR
-NZQF Level 2 or 3
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy boxes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility with working hours (weekends and public holidays may be required)
