Storeroom Assistant Wanted – Full-Time Position
We’re looking for an experienced Storeroom Assistant to join our busy supermarket team. This hands-on role is based in the storeroom and involves the accurate receipting, checking, storage, and distribution of all inwards goods.
We need someone reliable, detail-oriented, and physically fit, who can work well under pressure and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and checking inwards goods
- Organising and maintaining storeroom areas
- Ensuring accurate stock handling and record keeping
- Supporting the team with general storeroom duties
- Previous experience in a busy storeroom environment (supermarket experience a plus)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit — some heavy lifting involved
- Computer literacy and admin skills
- A current forklift licence is an advantage
- Familiarity with SAP systems is a bonus
- Full-time position including at least one weekend day
- Hours and pay to be discussed at interview
