Attention all students interested in the energy sector! Mercury is currently seeking talented and motivated interns to join our team for the summer from November 2025 to February 2026.
As a Geo Science intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of engineering projects that will contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions. This is an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice.
The role will be based in our Rotorua office and you will be working with experienced engineers and other graduates.

About you:
You may have an interest in:
- Renewable power generation, Sustainability, GIS or Environmental issues.
- Are currently studying Environmental Science, Geology, Earth Science, Geography, Environmental Management, Resource Planning or have a strong interest in the renewable energy sector (even if not studying in one of the above areas).
- The passion, curiosity and enthusiasm to get stuck in and make a real difference.
