In this role, you will support the overarching supply chain functions through identifying areas of opportunities, timely reporting and monitoring supply chain activities, inventory & stock movements, charges, provide timely solutions and/or troubleshoot problems, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, manage and communicate milestones.
The opportunity based at our Ponsonby Support Office…
- Support management with on-time reporting and presentations on supply chain matters and activities, i.e. inventory, charges, claims, to assist management in making informed and effective business decisions
- Establish and maintain relationships with third party/business partners ensuring we have safe yet cost-efficient partnerships.
- Ensure packaging is on good stock levels.
- Be the conduit between the support office and the 3PL warehouse.
- Conduct regular site (warehouse, stores) visits and attend operational meetings.
Ensure that you follow up on all project deliverables in a timely manner.
- ·Provide support to the Planning Manager and to wider business in a supply chain capacity.
About you and what you will bring...
- 2 years experience working in supply chain, planning and/or logistics.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables, look ups, sum ifs, big data management).
- Experience with retail management systems.
- Seeks opportunities to continually improve workflow.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong attention to details.
