About us:
Home Support North was established in 1994. It is a not - for - profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees. The organisation provides homecare and personal care to Clients to enable them to live in their own home independently. The service extends to Clients at home in the Northland Region. The Service has contracts to provide support to Clients that are under the care of the Northland District Health Board, Ministry of Health and ACC.
We are looking for an experienced Caregiver who who is looking for part time work or extra over the weekend. Previous experience in the role of Caregiving is a requirement, dealing with clients who have Complex and or special needs.
· This role is based in Dargaville.
· Saturday 8:am to 9:30am as well as 12:30 to 2pm as well 4:30pm to 6pm available.
· Competitive salary.
· No shift work/public holidays.
· Weekend position, with opportunity for weekly hours as well.
· Full drivers licence.
We are seeking someone with the skills and experience to work with people in our community. You will need a friendly nature and a genuine passion toward caring for our Clients who are older, living with a disability, or ACC/rehabilitation supported.
Your focus will be visiting and giving Client support in their home
The Role requires:
· Good time management with multiple tasks
· Excellent work ethic and professionalism
· Strong team player with sound communication skills
· Legal eligibility to work in NZ long term
· Ability & confidence to work unsupervised
· Loyalty and adherence to our Organizations vision & policies
· Great customer service skills. Maintaining own boundaries of role.
· Clean driving record – travelling to Client’s homes is a daily requirement
