Mitre 10 MEGA Ferrymead is a locally owned family store where we strive to deliver exceptional customer service to all our valued customers.
We are looking for an experienced team leader to oversee our Power garden departments which include garden care, garden hardware, irrigation, garden power tools & more. You will be knowledgeable in all things garden related. Working alongside a motivated and fun-loving team.
This is a full time position Sunday - Thursday. 40 hours per week.
This is a fast moving department where heavy lifting is involved.
We are looking for a sales super star, someone who is passionate in delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers, someone who can also demonstrate the following:
- Team player
- Physically fit as some heavy lifting may be required
- Previous leadership experience role in a similar
- Exceptional sales & customer service skills
- Displays urgency in order to get the job done
- Can motivate & develop team members
- Great communication skills
- Computer literate
- Can multi task & problem solve
- Quick & alert mind with the ability to adapt & be flexible
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Retail & leadership experience necessary
