About the Role
We are looking for a Team Secretary to join our busy, dynamic Transcription Service team at Middlemore Hospital. This full-time, Monday to Friday position offers you the chance to play a key role supporting our Clinical Head and Senior Medical Staff.
As part of a close-knit team of five, you’ll provide essential secretarial support and transcribe medical dictations, transcription makes up approximately 70% of this fast-paced role.
About You
Do you have experience in the medical field and are looking to further develop your skills? Alternatively, if you do not have a medical background but possess exceptional typing speed and accuracy, this role presents an excellent opportunity for you.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has dictaphone typing experience
- Minimum typing speed of 55wpm
- Intermediate level of MS Office Word & Outlook
- Thrives in a fast-placed, busy environment
