As a Downer Traffic Controller, you will assist with Temporary Traffic Management under the direction of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Ultimately you will work to ensure the safety of your crew and the public through clear and accurate direction of traffic. It also requires:
- Proven experience in temporary traffic management, with a strong and consistent track record in on-road delivery.
- Sound understanding of CoPTTM and NZGTTM, including the ability to apply practical TTM solutions on live worksites.
- Proficiency in identifying and managing site hazards, conducting pre-start checks, and implementing control measures.
- A confident and professional communicator with the public, team members, clients, and stakeholders.

You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you.
- Minimum Class 1 Restricted Licence
- Construct Safe Accredited
- TTM Unit Standards - 31958, 31959 & 31960 or has a valid TMO Practicing NZTA Warrant
- First Aid Certification
- Comfortable using mobile devices or tablets for daily reporting or job management systems.
- Be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
