To upkeep our commitment to keeping Auckland pristine, we’re looking for a dedicated Town Centre Cleaner to join our Auckland Facilities team!
Role Overview
As a Town Centre Cleaner, you’ll be an all-rounder, committed to ensuring the Town Centre is clean and safe. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with road sweeper operations
- Water blasting for hard surface cleaning
- Weed spraying for vegetation control
- Litter collection and disposal
- Cleaning and maintaining bus stops
- Rubbish bin cleaning
- Operating leaf blowers to keep paths clear
- Cleaning curbs and channels
- Driving class 2 trucks, small vehicles, and road sweepers
This role is Monday to Friday, starting at 6am and working through to 2:30pm so you ,must be an early riser!
About You:
You’re self-motivated with a strong work ethic and take pride in delivering high-quality results. You’re comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety for yourself, your colleagues, and the public. You also bring excellent public relations skills, professionally representing both the Council and Green by Nature. A full Class 1 and ideally class 2 driver’s licence is essential for this role, as you’ll be operating a range of vehicles.
