Are you passionate about helping people plan for their future and manage their financial affairs? Join our team as a Trustee at Public Trust in Christchurch, where you'll play a key role in supporting our customers with their estate planning and financial management needs.

About the Role

As a Trustee, you will be a key member of our Customer Centre team, helping our customers plan for their future and manage their current financial affairs. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.

  • Spend time with customers to understand their needs and help them write wills or enduring powers of attorney.
  • Manage Trusts for customers, ensuring they meet their obligations and are fit for purpose.
  • Hold the primary relationship with customers, managing their experience end-to-end.
  • Work across a range of products and services, including the administration of wills, estates, trusts, and enduring powers of attorney.
  • Coach junior team members as your experience grows.

About You

You are passionate about creating amazing customer experiences and have a positive attitude. Your empathy and resilience will help you thrive in this role, along with your critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable using technology.
  • Experienced in estate administration, relationship management, or client contracts.
  • Interested in working with communities, social services, health organisations, or support services.
