Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role
You will be teaching our Hairdressing level 3 program. You don’t need any experience in teaching, we will provide you with comprehensive learning, and support teaching tools to become successful in your tutor role. You will be facilitating learning using existing curriculum which is prepared for you – all you have to do is take your passion into the classroom and use the resources along the way.
- Deliver learning objectives in a way that brings our curriculum alive for the student
- Mentoring students and tracking/monitoring of our student success
- Achieve graduate success outcomes
Ko wai koe | About you
To be a Hairdressing tutor, you will need a nationally recognised qualification in Hairdressing (Level 4) or equivalent international qualification and at least three years industry experience. Ideally you would also have achieved the level 5 qualification as part of your final certification when working in a salon. It would be advantageous if you have a qualification in Adult Teaching, however, it isn’t a requirement.
