Video Editor (Freelance / Contract Work) Remote (NZ-Based)

Building Music School is a fast-growing online coaching platform helping music school owners around the world grow their teaching businesses.

The Role

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled freelance video editor to help us with ongoing editing work. This is a contract-based role with no guaranteed hours, but we do have a consistent stream of projects coming in.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Short-form ads for social media
• YouTube videos and podcast edits
• Promotional and educational content

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is based in New Zealand
• Has prior video editing experience (must provide samples)
• Is ideally studying or has studied film, marketing, or media
• Has experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred, not essential)
• Can work independently, take feedback well, and meet deadlines

Other Details:

• Fully remote — work from wherever suits you
• This is freelance/contract work with flexible hours
• We’ll need you to complete a paid trial video edit as part of the application process
