We are a busy and welcoming café/restaurant located in central Paeroa, known for our great food, service, and friendly atmosphere. We're currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable wait staff to join our front-of-house team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Greeting customers and providing excellent table service
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks
- Answering questions about the menu and daily specials
- Handling payments and operating the POS system
- Clearing tables and maintaining a clean, tidy dining area
- Assisting with basic cleaning and closing duties
- Supporting the team in delivering a great experience to every customer
What We're Looking For:
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred (but not essential)
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
