Downer is an industry leader in water, providing water services to a quarter of New Zealanders. We support our customers across the full asset lifecycle from the conceptual development of a project through design, construction, commissioning and whole-of-life support and optimisation.
Downer NZ has an opportunity for an experienced Water Serviceperson to join their team who operate and maintain Whangarei’s water reticulation networks
A bit about you:
- Strong focus on Health and Safety
- A full driver's licence and class 2 HT licence preferred
- Minimum 1 years’ experience, preferably involved in water, wastewater and stormwater
- Concrete restoration experience
- Proven experience or an interest in Water Reticulation
- Ideally experience working with Water Mains and Service lines
- Traffic management skills, TC and or STMS trained, would be an advantage
- Current confined space entry training would be an advantage
- A great attitude, willing to learn new skills and build a stable, safe career!
