Job Description
This position is located at our Bay of Plenty Plant, situated 25 minutes south of Tauranga. Located in Rangiuru, 5 minutes from Te Puke and a quick drive to many of the beautiful Bay of Plenty beaches.

As our Payroll Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our plant employees. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining payroll records, processing weekly payrolls, and contributing to system improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee and Payroll Records Management: Create, maintain, update, and filing of comprehensive employee and payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Payroll Processing: Accurately balance, reconcile, and process weekly payrolls, adhering to strict deadlines to ensure timely and precise compensation for all employees.
- Data Analysis and Audit: Review, audit, and analyse timesheet and payroll data to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure data integrity and compliance.
- System and Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the continuous enhancement of payroll systems and processes, leveraging your insights and expertise to drive efficiencies and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with payroll systems or knowledge of employment legislation is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a payroll or administrative role is preferred but not essential — training will be provided for the right candidate.
