British American Tobacco New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive in Auckland, New Zealand

Your Role & Impact:

  • Develop, implement and track key account plans that drive distribution and commercial growth.
  • Build account plans with sales, volume, and share targets which aligning with overall business goals.
  • Establish sustainable, profitable relationships with key accounts and external partners to drive long-term growth.
  • Measure critical metrics ensuring alignment with global and end-market governance standards.
  • Manage business-critical projects end-to-end, including scoping, partners alignment, and tracking breakthroughs.
  • Analyze sales and market trends, preparing actionable recommendations to optimize distribution and investment strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally to foster a culture of innovation, streamline processes, and implement creative strategies.

What You Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or a related field. Experience in account/category management is preferred.
  • A passion for data, strategy, and market insights to drive performance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial finance and marketing principles, their application in account profitability.
  • A collaborative, data driven approach and excellent communication skill.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, or emerging categories is a plus!
  • Proven success in building partnerships with key accounts, industry stakeholders, and associations to understand market trends and provide business solutions.
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
