We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our NZ Marketing Team as a Brand Manager, specialising within Corn and Better For You portfolio, including Doritos, Tostitos, Sunbites Grainwaves and PopCorners. Your role will contribute to achieving our snacks portfolio strategy and growth plans as a part of the New Zealand brand team and broader marketing function. In this position you will manage and
implement strategy & plans for the brands within Corn and BFY portfolio across the full marketing mix including communications and innovation, to deliver profitable growth.

Responsibilities

Key Resposibilities:
  • Drive brand growth through identifying key brand insights and growth strategies
  • Capitalise on opportunities that deliver AOP volume, revenue share and profit growth, and build on-going brand equity
  • Work closely with other functions (sales, category, shopper, R&D etc) both locally and across the regional and global Pepsico business to align & optimise project delivery and provide thorough measurement and evaluation of all launches.
  • Drive a clear communications strategy for your portfolio of brands/products as well as collate and deliver concise communication briefs to external agencies in line with agreed brand objectives
  • Manage the execution of all advertising and activation elements (shoot, budget, timing, business sell in) – to deliver creative and relevant communication & activation to delight consumers drive brand growth
  • Deliver requisite brand/product performance reports and budget tracking reports to prescribed timings with issues and opportunities clearly identified
  • Manage relationships with key Packaging, Research, Media, Creative & Activation agencies to ensure effective brand outcomes

Qualifications

About you:
  • To be successful in your new role you will have a minimum of 2 years Brand Management experience within New Zealand or Australian market, either in FMCG or related industry
  • Experience with new product development and the Stage Gate process or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically with a keen eye for attention to detail and strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage and execute projects
  • Ability to apply your creativity to identify alternative approaches and solutions plus confidence to influence and persuade stakeholders at a local and regional level will ensure your success in this role
  • Ability to work with Global partners and harness appropriate Global NPD & Comms and co-ordinate relevant approvals within matrix structure in a timely manner
