About the Role:
As a Duty Manager, you’ll play a key part in the evening running of the store – leading from the front, ensuring exceptional customer service, supporting our team, and keeping things running smoothly and safely. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, motivate others, and help create a positive environment for both staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee store operations during designated shifts
- Lead, support, and motivate team members
- Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times
- Handle customer queries and resolve any issues
- Maintain store presentation and security
- Assist with opening and/or closing procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven retail and leadership experience (supermarket experience a bonus)
- A calm, positive approach with great problem-solving skills
- Confident decision-making under pressure
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
