At the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) | Te Pā Whakamarumaru, we are dedicated to our mission of keeping Aotearoa New Zealand and our people safe and secure. We collect and analyse intelligence and security concerns to protect New Zealand from threats such as foreign interference, espionage and terrorism.
About the role
As one of the Business Coordinators within our Intelligence Directorate, you will work cross-functionally to help the directorate deliver its mission functions and objectives by providing a range of coordination and professional support services. You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective support to assigned units as well as the wider Directorate as required.
Our Business Coordinators help facilitate the delivery of operations, and there will be plenty of variety in the day-to-day of the job. As well as being part of a fun, collaborative, and supportive team, you will have a front row seat to a lot of the interesting work our Intelligence Directorate undertakes. In turn, you'll be provided with plenty of career development opportunities. You may be introduced to a career path you never thought existed!
This role specifically supports the operations and capabilities and often no two days are the same. A key aspect is that you are adaptable to a changing environment.
The appointing range for this position is $73,684 - $78,596 per annum.

Before you apply
Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
You must:
Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
