About the Role
The Business Administrator will be responsible for the management of the farm’s business operations, overseeing all administration and compliance matters in accordance with New Zealand law. This is a key role that ensures the smooth running of our farm while meeting regulatory, financial, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day business operations of the farm.
- Manage all administrative tasks including payroll, invoicing, and record keeping.
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand laws and industry regulations.
- Liaise with government agencies, suppliers, and contractors.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
- Support operational planning and resource allocation for farm productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in business administration or management; OR a Bachelor’s qualification.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in New Zealand.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.

Pay: $32.00 – $43.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
