Business Manager

Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll assist business customers with a range of financial needs—from home and business lending to equipment finance and credit cards. You’ll also play a key role in customer retention by proactively reaching out based on needs-based leads. Working closely with internal partners across Westpac, you’ll take ownership of ensuring our business customers receive the right support at the right time.

- A passion for delivering top notch service to business banking customers
- Strong understanding of Credit Risk and prior Credit Analysis experience
- Business/Commercial lending experience is required
- Most of the customer interactions in the Business team occur via phone or email so you will need excellent verbal and oral communication skills and be able to represent the business unit in a friendly and professional manner
- If you are someone that uses your initiative, takes ownership for always delivering what is promised and has a willingness to learn then we look forward to receiving your application
- Some form of tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting is preferred
- An interest in learning about business lending and a desire to pursue a career in Business Banking are essential.
