About the Role
As a Customer Support Agent, you will be part of our 24/7 Call Centre Operations Team, providing professional and timely customer service to internal staff, emergency services, and the general public. You’ll answer incoming calls, monitor critical hospital alarms, respond to emergency calls, and activate internal and civil emergency processes when required.
This role is at the heart of keeping our hospital connected, safe, and responsive — no two days are ever the same. You’ll be a calm, clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment where your work has a real impact.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Service Hub team provides essential communication, coordination, and emergency response support across the hospital. We work closely with clinical and non-clinical services to ensure safe, smooth operations 24/7.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- NCEA Level 2 or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and adapt your style to different situations
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how to apply its principles in your role
