About the Opportunity | Mō te tūnga
We’re on the lookout for two dynamic Capability Developers to drive staff performance, confidence, and growth in our Integrity and Debt teams. These roles are all about connecting with people, leading from the front, and delivering high-impact learning experiences that really make a difference.
Whether you’re coaching one-on-one or running energetic group sessions, you’ll be the go-to expert — building capability, imparting knowledge, creating engaging learning solutions, sparking motivation, and helping teams deliver exceptional service to New Zealanders.
You’ll work alongside passionate professionals in a team that lives and breathes continuous improvement, values creativity, and embraces Te Ao Māori principles as part of everything we do.

Capability Developer – Quality & Risk Focus
Love the challenge of untangling complexity? You’ll take the lead on quality assurance initiatives, tackling calculations, spotting risks, and helping our teams sharpen their skills to deliver consistent, top-tier service.
Capability Developer – Learning & Coaching Focus
This role is all about connection. You’ll run vibrant, practical learning sessions and coach individuals and teams to lift capability, drive engagement, and build confidence. If you’re a natural presenter and motivator, this one’s for you.
Bring Your Energy | Ngā pūkenga kauneke
We’re after confident communicators who thrive in people-centric roles and know how to inspire, engage, and influence.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in learning & development, coaching, or facilitation.
- A vibrant presence and the ability to lead with energy and positivity.
- Strong communication and relationship skills — you’re comfortable talking to anyone.
- The ability to read the room, manage group dynamics, and handle tough conversations with ease.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a can-do attitude in fast-paced environments.
- A curious mindset, you’re always looking for better ways to do things.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with confidence.
- A full or restricted NZ driver licence.
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
- Delivering energetic group training and one-on-one coaching.
- Supporting staff to grow their confidence and skills.
- Identifying development opportunities and turning them into action.
- Leading quality assurance activities and helping mitigate risks.
- Collaborating with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement.
- Helping our people connect with whānau in meaningful, respectful ways.
- Designing custom learning plans and tracking outcomes.
- Communicating clearly and confidently across channels.
