Job Description
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Regional Manager to lead our Christchurch operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a key region, grow a high-performing team, and make a real impact in a business that values leadership, technical expertise, and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive regional growth and performance.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Stay across market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other regional leaders to align local initiatives with national goals.
- Champion continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Represent Temperzone at local industry events and forums.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Proven leadership experience – confident leading by example and motivating others.
- Strong technical aptitude and IT savvy – comfortable with digital tools and technical environments.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills – able to manage competing priorities with ease.
- Clear and confident communicator – both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage.
- Strong relationship-building skills – focused on long-term customer partnerships.
- Highly self-motivated – proactive, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering results.
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience (controls or electrical preferred; HVAC experience a plus).
- Experience in office and manufacturing environments (5+ years).
- Engineering qualifications and industrial marketing experience are beneficial but not essential.
- HVAC or ASHRAE certifications/registrations are a plus.
