About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Administrator to join our Accounts Payable team based in Christchurch. This important position will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounts Payable processes and systems, supporting our ongoing commitment to quality, integrity, and sustainability in the construction sector.
You will be responsible for:
- Processing and paying supplier invoices
- Daily bank reconciliation and transfers
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliation
- Clearing emails and supporting supplier & wider team inquiries
- Setting up new suppliers
- Cover for the receptionist and general administration tasks
What you bring to the role:
- Experience in accounts payable or contract administration is a definite advantage
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Word
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Willingness to learn and thrive with changes in a rapidly growing company
