We are on the search for the next skilled Claims Officer to join our New Zealand team, in Auckland. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, ready for someone who is experienced in the industry, proactive and able to deliver exceptional customer service to our customers.
Salary: Competitive salary plus annual bonus incentive
So, what’s the job?
You’ll provide specific advice and assistance to customers regarding new and/or existing claims
You’ll be requesting relevant information both written and verbal in order to process claim/s
You’ll be handling, registering and resolving complaints within the compliance framework
You’ll maintain cases in a consistent and effective manner within our file management system
You’ll support business areas to identify, record, report and respond to complaints, breaches, privacy issues and conflicts of interests appropriately
And what are we looking for?
To be successful in this role,
You’ll have relevant claims handling experience within travel and/or accident and health industry (desirable)
You’ll have knowledge, understanding of travel/general insurance claims process and/or understanding of insurance legislation, regulations and guidelines applicable to the department
You’ll have an intermediate skill level in using Microsoft office and/or using file management systems, as well as managing phone calls and emails
You’ll have strong skills in written and verbal communication and be well organised with a customer focus
