We’re on the lookout for a Communications Associate to help tell the story of Pams and our wider own brands portfolio. In this role, you’ll support internal communications that connect our brands with the people who bring them to life – our support centre teams, Foodstuffs’ members, and supply partners. Reporting to the Lead Brand & Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in making sure Foodstuffs Own Brands is connected, understood, and celebrated to the wider goals of the Foodstuffs co-operative.
Te Tūranga – About the role· Develop on brand content that connects people to our brands and purpose.· Communicate product updates, launches and business initiatives in a clear, accessible way.· Help plan and deliver internal events, activations that build pride and advocacy for Pams and own brand products.· Keep our internal brand tools and messaging consistent, updated and well used.· Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure consistent and aligned communication.· Be a go-to for stores and teams looking for information or support about Pams and own brand products.· Track engagement and look for ways to keep improving how we communicate.

You’ll bring:· Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and tone.· Strong organisation and time management – you can juggle competing priorities and still hit deadlines.· A flair for storytelling, with the confidence to present ideas and content clearly.· A proactive and solutions-focused mindset. You get energy from ticking things off.· Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel). Knowledge of either Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud a bonus.· A desire to learn about retail, FMCG, and how co-operatives work. You’ll have:· Experience in a communications or internal engagement– whether you're early in your career and ready to step up, or already have a few years under your belt.· Comfortable working across teams and adapting to different audiences· Exposure to a commercial or customer-focused environment – FMCG or retail experience is a bonus.· Experience supporting internal events or working in a large or matrixed organisation is also a plus.
