Job Description

Do yourself a power of good

Join Vector and make a difference – for the world, your community, and yourself. Whatever your role, you’ll help tackle global challenges while improving the lives of 1.7 million Aucklanders.

The role

As Community Engagement Partner, you play a vital and energising role in helping amplify Vector’s presence and building lasting connections across Auckland’s diverse communities. You’ll help shape and deliver impactful strategies that elevate Vector’s reputation, and ensure our communities feel heard, supported and valued.

This role is all about meaningful engagement, from contributing to community programs and initiatives to ensuring we respond effectively and empathetically to community feedback and concerns.  You’ll be part of a small, high-performing team that’s hands-on, visible and passionate about making a difference.

Expect to be out in the community, connecting with customers face-to-face, and representing Vector in ways that build trust and goodwill.  You’ll also play a crucial part in our storm and crisis response efforts, with some on-call responsibilities when our communities need us most.

Who are we looking for?

Please note that the nature of this role can involve occasional evening and weekend work to engage with our customers or to support Vector’s storm response.

Why us?

Whether it’s the opportunity to work on challenges on a truly global scale in collaboration with leading technology firms, or to build a legacy for Auckland and New Zealand through your work; or perhaps to work in an innovative and transformative sector, or our commitment to supporting your development, there’s a myriad of reasons to choose a career with Vector.
