About the role
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Community mental health nurse to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Upper Hutt. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can empower and enable Tangata Whaiora in their individual recovery journeys; we are also seeking someone who possesses skills and experience working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
If you are successful, you will be a part of our dynamic mental health and addictions team based at CBD Towers main street Upper Hutt. You will collaborate with a wide range of community and inpatient mental health professionals and network with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) across the Kapiti, Hutt Valley, Wellington and the Wairarapa region. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively are essential to your success.

About you
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and progressive nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team with previous mental health experience.
- You must have completion of an undergraduate (leading to registration) or post graduate program in mental health or intellectual disability nursing.
- Must have a current NZ APC.
- Mental health experience essential in the community preferred.
- Current full drivers licence.
