Summerset has an exciting opportunity for you to kick start your career as a Construction Systems Administrator. This full time role will be based in our Wellington Head Office.
Job Description
Supporting our Construction Business Unit, you will be part of a team that provides fast, knowledgeable, and proactive support to our system users. Providing stakeholder support to over 300 staff you’ll be the ‘go to’ person as our subject matter expert for our Project Management and QA system.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Monitor the Service Desk queue, ensuring all queries are acknowledged and resolved promptly and professionally
- Provide systems support and fault diagnosis, escalating technical issues where necessary and ensuring minimal disruption to business processes
- Maintain and update training manuals to reflect current workflows, system updates, and best practices
- Deliver job specific systems training to staff, ensuring users are confident and competent in using our Construction systems
- Load and administer Quality Assurance inspection templates within our QA system, maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal standards
- Looking after the day-to-day administration of the Service Desk; answering queries/providing training for our core construction systems
- Understanding functionality updates from release notes and providing recommendations on which should be implemented
- As the trusted go-to person you will build and maintain strong working relationships within the Construction Business Unit
Qualifications
About you?
- Medium to Advanced level in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel
- Experience with Systems and application enhancements
- Excellent time management and organisation skills, with high attention to detail
- Construction industry experience is not mandatory, but would be highly advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills – the ability to trouble shoot and solve queries early
