We are excited to advertise a Learning Programme Lead – Credit to join our Culture, Capability and Learning function. You will report to the Senior Manager Banker Capability and be part of the wider HRC Business Unit.

This role is responsible for programmes including, Westpac New Zealand’s Credit Approval Limit (CAL) programme and other credit/lending and targeted capability skilling, including role-ready induction for our customer facing bankers, with programmes structured to meet any accreditation requirements. You will be creating and implementing engaging learning experiences that build core banking capabilities across e-learning, virtual and in person workshops, including facilitator and participant resources.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
  • Proven experience as a learning professional designing and delivering blended learning experiences within a corporate environment
  • Exceptional facilitation skills including delivery of learning programmes at multiple levels of the organisation, both face-to-face and virtual formats
  • Experience working in a customer-facing and/or credit role within Westpac New Zealand or the wider financial services ecosystem
  • Comprehensive understanding of Westpac New Zealand’s Credit Approval Limit (CAL) framework and experience developing or delivering foundational credit/lending programmes for bankers
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the application of adult learning principles
  • Adult learning certification (preferred)
  • Experience working with a learning management system
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Determined to provide excellent customer service and deliver the best possible results for the business at all times
  • High levels of self-awareness and empathy
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels and from a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Enjoys collaborative working as part of a team while also able to work effectively with own initiative
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to flex to support the wider team
  • Assimilates new information quickly
