- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes (curries, tandoori items, snacks, breads, sweets).
- Measure, mix, and prepare spices and ingredients.
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct taste, texture, and temperature.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food hygiene and safety rules.
- Store food properly and monitor stock levels.
- Assist in planning daily menus and specials.
- Minimise food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
- Work with other staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
