Our Wellington Corporate team is in high demand, so we are looking for another Solicitor / Senior Solicitor with an interest in M&A, private equity and/or capital raising work to join the highly successful team.
We advise major New Zealand and international clients, including private equity and infrastructure investors, on market leading transactions.

- Infratil on multiple secondary capital raisings on the NZX Main Board, including its $1.275bn capital raising in 2024.
- Resolution Life on its acquisition of the New Zealand life insurance company, Asteron Life New Zealand, for NZ$410m.
- Australian and international private equity firms such as Quadrant and TPG on acquisitions and divestments of New Zealand assets.
- Infratil in relation to its acquisition of a majority interest in CDC Data Centres and the sale of its majority interest in Manawa Energy to Contact Energy.
- River Capital on its acquisition of Aspire2 Group Limited, a leading New Zealand-based education business, from Archer Capital.
- Z Energy on its $2b takeover by Ampol by way of scheme of arrangement.
- Kiwi Group Holdings on the sale of:
- Kiwi Wealth to Fisher Funds for NZ$310m, and
- Kiwi Insurance to nib for $45m.
- The New Zealand Treasury on Air New Zealand’s NZ$2.2b recapitalisation package, including the New Zealand Government’s participation in Air New Zealand’s $1.2b underwritten rights issue, and associated funding arrangements.
