Location: Burger Bonanza City Centre, Christchurch - We have two stores, so you could be rostered to work in any one of them as below:

- 109 Worcester Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011

Pay Range: $25 - $28 per hour
Minimum hours per week: 30
Maximum Hours Per Week: 60
Position Summary
As a Crew Member at Burger Bonanza, you’ll be the friendly face our customers see first—and the helping hands that keep our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll split your time between serving guests at the counter and phone, handling payments and orders, and pitching in behind the scenes with basic kitchen and cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile, take accurate orders at the counter or phone and process payments using the POS system
- Assemble completed orders—burgers, fries and sides—and hand them to customers promptly
- Prepare simple ingredients (e.g. slice tomatoes, portion cheese, batch fries) and assist with burger assembly under the chef’s guidance
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels at the service counter, condiment station and dining area
- Wash dishes, trays and utensils; wipe and sanitize workstations, equipment and storage areas
- Receive deliveries, check quality and expiry dates, then store ingredients correctly
- Follow all food‑safety and hygiene procedures, including temperature checks, hand‑washing and glove use
- Communicate clearly with teammates to keep service flowing, and step in wherever help is needed
Skills & Attributes
- NZQA Level 1 OR at least high school qualification required.
- Valid Driver License Must for delivering order placed online
- Friendly, outgoing attitude with a genuine focus on customer service
- Basic cash‑handling or POS experience (or eagerness to learn)
- Ability to multitask under pressure and stay organized
- Strong team‑player with a positive, can‑do approach
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Must be able to work till late night and in weekend the stores remain open until 03:30 AM - so you might be rostered up until this time.
