The Manager Cabin Crew Operations is accountable for the leadership of Jetconnect Cabin Crew across New Zealand, overseeing a team of Crew Performance Managers responsible for performance, safety, and service delivery. This role is pivotal in managing and developing the CPM team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational excellence. Acting as a key liaison between CPMs, Qantas stakeholders, and the Senior Manager Cabin Crew Delivery, the position drives crew performance metrics, navigates evolving responsibilities, and manages stakeholder feedback. The role also oversees portfolio work and contributes to continuous improvement across Cabin Crew operations.

You’ll have:

  • Proven leadership experience managing large and dispersed teams
  • Strong knowledge of Cabin Crew requirements, aircraft operations, and safety standards
  • Experience navigating change, with the ability to lead and support teams through transitions
  • Clear, honest communication style with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence in handling direct conversations, feedback, and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and proven ability to productively navigate union dynamics
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and realistic delivery of crew engagement initiatives
  • Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard hours when required
