This role is based in our Auckland NZTE office.  Who are we Te Taurapa Tūhono | New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) purpose is simple – to grow companies internationally, bigger, better and faster, for the good of New Zealand. You would be joining the Export Customer team - we are a friendly passionate team of commercially astute ambitious Customer Managers.  What you'll be doing In this role you will manage a portfolio of New Zealand brands predominantly in the Food and Beverage and Consumer Goods sectors. This role is best suited for someone who is highly commercial, enjoys working at pace and is inspired by helping businesses to grow so they can export to the world.  You will work in close partnership with your portfolio of customers to deeply understand their business. You will learn and support them with their challenges and opportunities and their international growth strategy. Together you will build a work programme to help them achieve their goals. You'll be a trusted and empathic communicator, coach and problem solver who connects your customers to the right experts and tools to facilitate this support.   What you'll need to be successful You will be someone who has a good understanding of the NZ export business ecosystem with strong knowledge of Food and Beverage and Consumer Goods and the international landscape. A self-starter that embraces change and works at pace, who work independently but also build strong relationships within the broader NZTE one global team.
