Mō te Tūranga | About the role
We have an opening for a Data Governance Analyst to join our Data Management Office. The DMO strategically partners across the ASB Data Community to set up the guardrails, game-plans, and best practice guidelines for how we consume and manage our data, and drive initiatives like ASB's Data and Records Management Uplift Program.
Ngā Kawenga Matua | Key Responsibilities
As a Data Governance Analyst, you will work closely with others in the DMO and across the organisation to assist with the implementation and the ongoing operation and refinement of the Records Management Framework. You'll also be expected to undertake Data Management Risk COE work, such as risk and control assessments, regular risk reporting, and policy and standards reviews.

You have solid experience with implementation of operational risk management frameworks, with a specific focus on both data and records. You will need to have a hunger for knowledge and a learning-orientated mindset. You have a natural curiosity and can question and interpret beyond the obvious. You take a people-centred approach and enjoy working with and educating others. Outcome-orientated, you thrive working in a busy environment where customer-focused results are the norm. Experience in the financial industry is essential, as is experience with risk and controls.
