As Team Lead, you’ll champion data quality, automate reporting solutions, and empower decision-makers across the organisation with trusted insights. Your leadership will ensure our data is not just accurate—but actionable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving Excellence: Lead a team of analysts to deliver high-quality data and reporting solutions that meet stakeholder needs across Electricity, Gas, and wider Powerco.
  • Setting Standards: Develop and implement data quality frameworks, policies, and KPIs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Innovating with Insight: Supporting the Design of dashboards, scorecards, and visualisations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, SAC to support performance and regulatory reporting.
  • Automating Intelligence: Build and deploy automated data pipelines to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading into reporting systems—reducing manual effort, improving consistency, and accelerating decision-making.
  • Fostering a Data Culture: Conduct and report on data maturity assessments, promote data literacy, and embed governance practices such as cataloguing, lineage, and stewardship.
  • Exploring AI: Investigate the use of AI and machine learning to enhance data quality measurement and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborating Across Powerco: Work with internal teams and external agencies to ensure data integrity and support strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Experience: Several years in data quality management and reporting, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Qualifications: A degree or similar qualifications in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Alation, Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud and Python; knowledge of data governance and quality frameworks like DAMA or ISO.
  • Leadership: Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
  • Mindset: Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, and committed to building a performance-driven, collaborative culture.
