About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our committed supportive team of therapists at Tauranga Child Development Service, Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi. This position is fixed term part-time (20 hours per week) providing maternity leave cover from 1st September 2025 to 28th August 2026.
You will be based in Tauranga, working with a multidisciplinary child team that comprises of seven different disciplines. Your focus will be support for babies up to 5-year-olds with a disability in a community setting.
We are seeking a passionate therapist who will provide outstanding Dietetic care to our babies and children. This position would suit a clinician with experience in Paediatrics. You will work within a close team who provide multidisciplinary services to children with disabilities supporting the child and the family.

About you
Our preferred candidate will have:
- Previous Paediatric dietetic experience in a community setting would be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of the use of the nutrition care process and terminology
- Excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well within a team to achieve patient and whānau focused goals
- A focus on evidence-based practice
- Passion and a drive to make a meaningful difference through their work, alongside strong cultural awareness
