About the role
As a Distribution Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you will play a key role in providing both specialist and operational engineering support to our network. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical expertise and grow within a supportive and dynamic engineering environment.
Your role will include supporting and working within the Engineering team to:
- Support the development, standardisation, and continuous improvement of network design and construction documentation
- Support the Distribution Technologist in the management of the new equipment (and materials) introduction process framework
- Develop and maintain the testing and commissioning standard, and the commissioning process
- Receive, review and respond to field queries, Field Action Requests, and deliver the changes
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- BEng or tertiary level qualification in electrical engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the distribution network industry
- Strong knowledge of network design and construction
- Experience with Safety in Design, risk assessment, and lifecycle cost analysis
